Hôm nay Vy muốn chia sẻ trải nghiệm "đối đầu" với 3 bản đồ trong IELTS Writing Task 1 vừa mới thi ngày 03/07 rồi và cái kết không tưởng: 8.5 WRITING 😱🎉

Lúc thấy đề, tim mình như muốn rơi ra ngoài. Trước đó, mình còn "nổ" với anh em giáo viên ở IELTS 1984 là chắc không gặp maps đâu, ít ra lắm... Vậy mà giờ 3 cái bản đồ đang nhìn mình chằm chằm!

Sau một chút 'hoảng hốt' thì mình bình tĩnh dùng "Logical Framework" mà mình luôn dạy trên lớp ở IELTS 1984. Hít một hơi thật sâu, mình bắt đầu áp dụng từng bước một:

- Chia bản đồ theo khu vực, mình chọn cách chia theo chiều dọc.

- Gom thông tin vào thân bài, tả bên phải trước (có 1 khu kitchen không thay đổi), rồi đến bên trái.

- Phần gian nan nhất - viết:

Tuy có 3 bản đồ, nhưng mình nhận ra nó cũng không khác 2 bản đồ là mấy, chỉ cần so sánh thay đổi tới 2 lần.

Và rồi, khoảnh khắc nhận kết quả... 8.5 Writing! 🎉 Đợt này IDP trả kết quả siêu nhanh, hôm nay thi là ngày mai có kết quả rồi. Siêu nhanh. Lúc đấy mình sốc thật sự vì không ngờ Logical Framework lại hiệu quả đến vậy.

The given maps illustrate changes made to the ground floor of a building from 1958 to the present.

Overall, with the exception of the kitchen, the floor’s facilities underwent major modifications when it was repurposed into an apartment and a flower shop.

Looking first at the top-right corner, there is a kitchen, which has remained unchanged throughout the period. However, while the floor was originally designated for office use between 1958 and 1984, a manager's office and a reception ran along the same side, which were then converted into two bedrooms when the floor became an apartment from 1985 to 2000. From 2001 onwards, one bedroom was turned back into an office while the other near the entrance became an open section for flowers of a flower shop.

Regarding the opposite side, initially, a meeting room was located in the top corner, and running along the left wall was two offices for an assistant and a secretary, and a toilet. After 1984, these rooms were merged into one larger living room in the back, and a bathroom and shower near the entrance of the apartment. Finally, when the floor was utilized as a flower shop, the living room was then demolished to become an open space dedicated to gift cards and flowers while the washroom was replaced by a pay area.
