The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

1. Idea cho overview

Với những biểu đồ không thể hiện số năm cụ thể như bài này thì mình sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn các bạn nhé. Như thường lệ, ở phần overview mình cần chỉ ra được điểm nổi bật của từng biểu đồ.

Team academic IELTS 1984 chúng mình chọn ra những điểm nổi bật như sau:

- Ở biểu đồ tròn: Private studios được chọn nhiều nhất.

- Ở biểu đồ cột:

+ Học sinh dưới 11 tuổi chọn lớp ballet nhiều nhất.

+ Học sinh từ 11 đến 16 tuổi thì chọn lớp modern dance nhiều nhất.

2. Cách phân body

Ở bài này, vì 2 biểu đồ nói về 2 thông tin khác nhau, nên mình sẽ dùng mỗi body để miêu tả một biểu đồ.

- Body 1: Mô tả và so sánh tỉ lệ các địa điểm học nhảy khác nhau.

- Body 2: Mô tả và so sánh số lượng học sinh ở 2 nhóm tuổi, tham gia 3 lớp học nhảy khác nhau.

3. Cách tả từng câu

Sau đây là cách viết từng câu trong mỗi body:

Body 1: Tả phần trăm nơi diễn ra các lớp nhảy.

- (Câu 1) Tả phần trăm số học sinh chọn private studios (48%), và đây cũng là nơi được nhiều học sinh chọn nhất.

- (Câu 2) Tả về phần trăm của 2 nơi tiếp theo, đó là school halls và college-based studios, với phần trăm lần luợt là 24% và 10%.

- (Câu 3) Cuối cùng là tả về phần trăm của community halls và other places (18%).

Body 2: Tả về số lượng học sinh tham gia các lớp học khác nhau.

- (Câu 1) Có 600 học sinh ở độ tuổi dưới 11 tham gia lớp ballet, và con số này thì gấp đôi số lượng học sinh ở độ tuổi từ 11 đến 16.

- (Câu 2) Lớp nhảy modern thì có mức độ phổ biến thấp nhất với học sinh ở độ tuổi dưới 11 (300), thấp hơn nhiều so với số lượng học sinh ở độ tuổi từ 11 đến 16 (530).

- (Câu 3) Có một sự khác biệt nhỏ về số lượng học sinh tham gia lớp tap dance của 2 nhóm tuổi (480 và 430).

4. Paraphrasing

Ở đề này, để hạn chế về việc lặp từ khi nói về độ tuổi, các bạn có thể tham khảo một số cụm sau đây để paraphrase nhé:

- Two different age groups

- Students (who are) under 11 (years old)

- Students (who are) aged under 11

- 11-16-year-olds (đây là từ tả người luôn bạn nhé)

- Children (who are) from 11 to 16 (years old)

5. Vocabulary

- Academic facilities: Cơ sở vật chất được phục vụ cho việc học

- Disparity: Sự khác biệt

6. Sample

The charts below give information on the location and types of dance classes young people in a town in Australia are currently attending.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie chart compares the popularity of different locations where dance classes are hosted, whereas the bar graph illustrates three types of dance styles that students from two different age groups are learning in an Australian town.

Overall, private studios are the preferred choice of location among dance students. In addition, ballet classes attract the highest number of students under 11 years old, whereas modern dance classes are most popular with the older age group.

Looking first at where classes are held, a significant number of students choose private studios, at 48%, making it the most popular option. The figures for the two academic facilities, namely school halls and studios located in universities, are 24% and 10% respectively. Meanwhile, 18% of dance classes are hosted in community halls and other places.

Regarding dance styles, 600 students aged under 11 engage in ballet classes, which is double the number of 11-16-year-olds. Modern dance is the least popular among the younger age group, with only 300 students choosing it, far lower than the figure for the older age group, which has 530 participants taking the class. Finally, there is a smaller disparity between the two demographics in tap dance enrollment, with 480 children under 11 and 430 children from 11 to 16 years old participating. (213 words)
